It is a joy to introduce our new Communications Coordinator!
Aude Sathoud entered AWoN family as a practitioner in September 2021 and has been a Network companion ever since, notably involved in communications.
For the past few years, Aude has worked as a Project Coordinator and Advocacy Campaign Manager in organisations supporting people on the move in Athens and Paris. Aude is a researcher in cultural studies and critical theory as well, trained in France and the Netherlands, and focusing on the European and African worlds and their collusion. Afropean themselves, they constantly navigate between multiple spaces and forms – poetry, performance, activism, theory. They currently live in a small countryside village in the south of France, where they are a student in a documentary-making program, and are in the sketching phase of both a PhD project and first feature-film.
Upon taking up this position, Aude shared a few words with the practitionners:
‘I am so happy and honoured to return, thank you so much for the renewed trust and enthusiasm, cannot wait to (re)connect with you all, share reflections and stories, spark conversations and spread AWoN’s much needed message and vision.’
We are very happy to welcome Aude back in our crew and excited for this new phase of AWoN’s communications!
