Nejra Kadić Meškić is the CEO of the Center for Cultural Dialogue which builds intercultural societies and fights growing mistrust and polarization, and an associate at the Islamic Community in Croatia. She finished the School for Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo.
Nejra Kadić Meškić has twelve years of experience as an executive director and programme leader in the fields of human rights, minority rights, migration and integration, culture of dialogue, gender equality and youth policies at the political and implementation level.
Nejra Kadić Meškić is a trainer on teamwork and leadership in educational programs for youth. She has experience in project management, event management, public relations and marketing as well as public finances and budgeting – especially related to youth. She is familiar with the issues of human rights in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as she worked in the NGO sector in both countries.
She is the author and co-author of strategic documents related to the improvement of human rights implementation. In 2013, Nejra Kadić Meškić received an award for her contribution in the achievement of gender equality by the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Center for Cultural Dialogue operates with the mission of institutionally and strategically strengthening interreligious and intercultural dialogue in Croatia and beyond. By promoting a culture of dialogue, the Center fosters coexistence, acceptance, and understanding among diverse cultures, nations, and religions. Its programs aim to build an intercultural society locally and globally, through collaboration with various stakeholders and the development of policies that enhance social cohesion and acceptance.
