Amloud Alamir

Amloud Alamir worked as a journalist in her home country, Syria, as well as in Saudi Arabia before moving to Germany. She currently serves as a senior editor for Amal, Berlin!, a local news platform that reports in Arabic , Persian and Ukranian on social, political, and cultural developments in Germany, addressing issues that concern the community.

In addition to her role at Amal, Berlin!, Amloud works as a freelance journalist, focusing on culture, human rights, and migration. She produces video reportages about A World of Neighbours practitioners in Europe. With her extensive background in journalism, Amloud brings a wealth of knowledge, empathy, and insight to her work.

Amloud also serves on the Advisory Board for Migration and Integration for the Evangelische Church Berlin-Brandenburg. Additionally, Amloud did numerous workshops as a mentor for human rights at the European border.
