Center for Cultural Dialogue changing lives in Croatia

Nejra Kadić Meškić, head of the Center for Cultural Dialogue in Croatia, arrived in the country as a refugee herself in the 1990s, alongside her mother and sibling. The center operates on multiple levels, facilitating the integration of today’s newcomers into Croatian society. It has successfully facilitated the entry of people into the labour market and organised meetings between local Croatians and newcomers. Additionally, it has influenced political decisions that impact the lives of newcomers.

The Center for the Culture of Dialogue is an institution of the Islamic Community in Croatia. The initiator of the establishment in 2015 is mufti Aziz Hasanović.
