Sabina Esp, a social worker from Sweden, accompanied refugees for more than fifteen years and has been part of AWoN since 2019. She now is joining the team under the beautiful title of Human Connector – a precious part-time position made possible by a grant from UMCOR.
The role aims to focus on nurturing the ‘people-over-projects’ spirit of AWoN: connecting members, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring everyone feels seen, supported, and involved. Sabina will reach out to practitioners and other network members and be their main point of contact, share updates and collect insights to strengthen ties and enhance collective intelligence.
