We are very proud to announce the publishing of Living in A World of Neighbours: Activists and Academics in Conversation about Multi-Faith Refugee Relief.
This collection of pieces appears as both an archive of the rise of a unique interfaith European movement of solidarity with and support of people on the move, and a testimony to our faiths and fights, encounters and alliances, challenges and achievements. This is a milestone and a call; a step and a beacon. This is a beginning.
‘While each chapter is interesting and instructive on its own, the book is more than the sum of its parts. A conversation between activist and academic approaches to refugee relief emerges in and in-between the lines, sometimes so much so that it’s not clear where the author comes from. We couldn’t have wished for more! We hope the book finds lots of readers who are inspired by its case for building a world of neighbours here and now.’
Our deepest thanks to our three incredible editors, Ryszard Bobrowicz, Anna Hjälm and Ulrich Schmiedel for making a reality of such an unconventional piece.
