In the present times, it also is a heavy – and thus so needed responsibility to stand by the mission and values of A World of Neighbours. As the EU’s new Pact on Migration and Asylum is about to come into force next month, impacting the lives of thousands at Europeans’ borders, the work of migration practitioners, and the support AWoN offers them, appear all the more crucial. The world we call out for, ever more urgent.
We will keep on imagining and building it together. We will enact it every day. Hold one another, struggle along and for each other, resist and thrive – towards more love, togetherness and justice.
