Think about your work with people on the move. What do you think works so well
that it would be worth sharing it with others? From something major and political to
something minor and personal, we want to hear about all the helpful things you do,
so that we can share them with the world. With a little bit of luck, it will look like the
series “A moment that changed me” in the Guardian, but about engaging with people
on the move.
If you are up for contributing, here is what you need to do:
You can answer these questions right here in this form. Or in a written
message or in a spoken message that you send to Ulrich (written messages to

Think about the practice you want to share with the world.
Answer the following five questions:
1) What practice is it?
2) How do you know it works?
3) Tell us one short story connected to this practice.
4) If practitioners elsewhere would want to implement your practice, what
advice would you give them?
5) Take two or three photos – if you want to, selfies are particularly welcome –
that give us an impression of the practice.

That’s it! We’ll be in touch once we have written up your practice, so that you can
check the text before it is shared with the world in a booklet that will be available
online and offline in print.
Do keep in mind that it is meant to be shared with the world though! Unlike all the
other things that the research team does, this one is not confidential. It’s meant for
sharing!
Why not start with it right now? It won’t take you longer than 15 minutes!
This call is open until February 9th.
Thank you!
All the best,
Ulrich Schmiedel for the AWoN Research Team
