‘Jewish Peoplehood in Europe today: challenges and visions’ – join our next Learning & Exchange webinar!

For this second L&E event of the season, join us for a two-part exciting webinar focusing on the experiences, challenges and visions for Jews in Europe today, on March 10 and March 24 at 5pm CET!

Those sessions aim at giving a more in-depth background for what it means to live and practice as Jews in Europe in 2026, beyond the media attention on rising anti-Semitism, the war in Gaza and conflicts in the Middle-East.

The first session, on March 10 at 5pm CET, will be dedicated to a historical overview of Jewish presence in Europe (Dr. Jan Schwarz), contemporary European Jewish peoplehood (Rabbi Rebecca Lillian) and Jewish migration in Europe and beyond (Ilan Cohn, director of HIAS). The panel will be followed by an interactive conversation between presenters and the audience.

The second session, on March 24 at 5pm CET, will gather representatives of the four largest Jewish communities in Europe (France, UK, Germany, Poland), for a panel conversation on Jewish history and
contemporary life
in each of their national contexts, once again followed by an exchange with the audience.

We encourage participants to submit questions and commentaries before the webinar which we will present to the panelists. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions during the sessions.

Register here and join us for the first part of the webinar on March 10 at 5pm!
