A Light in the Dark : Celebrating interreligious cooperation
On Thursday 12 December, we gathered to celebrate the end of the year together, and to discuss how interreligious cooperation can be a light in the dark, in our work and personal lives.
The AWoN community boasts a multi-faith set-up, extensive professional experience, with members possessing substantial knowledge in their respective fields. Additionally, A World of Neighbours has a dedicated team of researchers who work in close collaboration with the practitioners, leading to the development of high-quality research studies related to the issues facing migration practitioners.

The new Pact on Asylum and Migration was adopted by the EU in spring 2024, bringing new challenges to asylum applicants and practitioners supporting them. We had the pleasure of welcoming Ana Puljiz from CCME in a webinar that gave us a better understanding of both its impact on our work and the opportunities for collaboration and advocacy.
At AWoN, we are constantly seeking ways to build stronger connections and more effective collaborations across our network. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Maura James to introduce the concept of a “Community of Practice” and explore how it could shape the future of our work together.
